Stoves can be easily self-installed but you need building control approval (which is easily done). You may wish to have your stove installed by an APHC or Hetas registered installer in which case you do not need building control approval. more information on stove installation.
Our chimney liner is made of a double layer of stainless steel. The inner layer has a smooth inner surface. This means that the flue gases move up fast through the liner staying hotter. There are also few places for tar to accumulate. Our stainless steel flexible chimney liner can cope with most bends commonly found in chimnies and can be bent without the inner surface crumpling. The main point of using chimney liner is to enable you to insulate the liner. Insulating your chimney liner keeps the flue gases hotter thus minimising tar deposits in the liner and therfore reducing the risk of chimney fire.
Black arrows on the outside of the liner point upwards showing the direction in which the liner should be used. The arrows point in the same direction that the flue gases should travel up the liner.
